Going to the Great Beyond—An In-person Workshop to Rediscover Our Why

This in-person workshop, facilitated by Samara’s Dr. Rachel Larimore, is designed to help us explore our current practices and how we can move away from simply learning in or about nature and toward more learning with nature.

To do this we’ll consider the structure of our time, the physical environment, and our teacher-child interactions. We’ll also discuss how we integrate nature-based experiences into all aspects of the day.

Whether you’re new to nature-based education or have been doing it for a long time, your voice matters, your wisdom is valued, and your growth is supported. As such, there will be limited presentation time and lots of interactive experiences and conversations.

This will be a time to reflect, problem-solve, and ask questions rooted in your own experience—not another passive, one-way professional learning session.

Thanks to Barnacles & Bees of Bremerton, WA for co-hosting this event!
