The score sheet begins with four site features that are essential to any prospective preschool. Then there are 18 key criteria that can be assigned a range of scores from 0-5, -5 to 5, 0-10, or -10 to 10. These differences in scoring ranges reflect the importance of these items. Within these ranges each evaluator can determine their own rating based on the organization’s mission and pedagogical philosophy.
