The Inside, Outside and Beyond as a metaphor for relating with the world

In nature-based pedagogy we typically think of the Inside, Outside, and Beyond as physical locations for learning. However, in this on-demand webinar we explore the Inside, Outside, and Beyond as a bigger metaphor for how we as educators relate to co-workers, children, families, and the natural world.

The Doing the Deep Work: Exploring Another Layer of Inside, Outside & Beyond webinar invites teachers and administrators to pause, reflect and consider the Inside, Outside & Beyond as a way of relating with ourselves and others. The webinar explores the following topics:

  • Inside, Outside, & Beyond as a metaphor for relating to the world

  • Questions we can ask ourselves when thinking about the Inside, Outside, & Beyond metaphor

  • Character traits we bring to our work and what those traits look and sound like in practice

  • Ways we can do the deep work within ourselves–individually or as a team.

Led by Dr. Rachel Larimore, this webinar challenges viewers to deeply examine their current relational dynamics—how they connect with the children in their care, engage with families, interact within their communities, and understand their broader place in the world. All with the intent of supporting educators to show up more fully and authentically as educators.

When you purchase this webinar you’ll receive a downloadable guide (PDF) including...

  • A video link so you can schedule the webinar viewing at a time that works best for your team

  • Certificate of completion so you can document and get credit for the time spent on this professional learning

This on-demand webinar  is perfect for educators looking for team development, as a teaching tool in pre-service education, or for individual professional learning.
